ABSTRACT

In this short text about video games we visit how it all began. How video games evolved and how the story of the most popular pastime unfolds. With all the ups and downs the rises and the falls of big gaming companies and of course the big influence video games have on the economy, technology even politics and of course we can’t forget about the influence on our everyday life as a whole, and the communities that were  built solely with video games in mind. Many people even make videos on youtube of them playing video games or of guides how to get through some difficult part or level in a game. In this text we start from the complete beginning, from the very first mechanical computer in 1822 by  Charles Babbage to the machines we have now like the PC (Personal computer) and we can’t forget the PS (Play Station) and the Xbox witch also had many releases and generations that brought joy to children and adults alike all around the world. Today everyone has a PC even the people that can’t afford a good PC buy one anyway because in this world we are in now you can’t live without the internet.
