ABSTRACT
Is fate inevitable? What happens when we as humans try to know the things we ought not to know? Some people think that fate can not be influenced, that whatever is going to happen; will happen. Macbeth though, is an example of someone who thought that he needed to interfere with fate in order that what was predicted by the three witches would happen. He wasn’t willing to wait for the future to unfold because of his great desire to be the future king of Scotland. He carefully listened to the witches prophesies, denying them to be true at first. But his decision to ignore them didn’t carry on for long after a small predicted thing became true making him the thane of Cawdor. This was the time when his desires over floated causing a battle of conscience, which he ultimately lost leading to him doing everything necessary to achieve his goal to becoming the future king. He thought his could only happen by killing Duncan, the king which was then on the throne. This murder happened due to the influence of Lady Macbeth; his partner in crime. Unfortunately once he had started along this path of murder, it eventually lead to the death of many people and ultimately to his own self destruction
ABSTRAKT
Da li je sudbina neizbežna? Šta se dešava kada mi ljudi pokušavamo da znamo stvari koje ne smemo? Poneki ljudi misle da na sudbinu se ne može uticati, da šta god će da se desi; desiće se. Macbeth medjutim je primer nekoga koji je mislio da se mora umšati, kako bi se desilo ono što je bilo predvidjeno on strane tri veštice. Nije hteo čekati da se budućnost otkrije samo po sebi, ybog njegove velike strasti za postanak budućeg kralja Škotske. Pažljivo je saslušao veštičina proročanstva, na početku negirajući ih da su tačna. Medjum njegova odluka da ih ignorise, nije dugo potrajala, nakon jedne male predvidjene stvari koja ispostavila da je tačno, učinići ga da postane plemić Cawdora. Ovo je trenutak kada su njegove strasti prekipile, izazivajući borbu njegove svesti, koju je na kraju izgubio vodeći ka tome da uradi sve moguće kako bi postigao svoj cilj; da postane budući kralj. Mislio je da se ovo jedino može desiti ubijajući kralja Duncana, tadašnjeg na presto. Ovo se desilo usled uticaja Lady Macbeth, njegovog partnera u zločinu. Nažalost, jednom kada je počeo ići ovim putem ubistva, dovelo ga je najzad do smrti mnogo ljudi i konačno do njegovog samog uništenja.
