ABSTRACT
This research paper explores and enlists the most inspirational women in both our country and the world with a brief description of women’s social position through history.
Considering the fact that women have been denied many rights since the Stone Age and still do not have the same treatment in some cultures, the topic is still very significant. Therefore, the aim of this work is to familiarize the primary students (the 5th to 8th graders) with this problem and promote the voice of tolerance and equality between men and women.
The research methods consisted of the investigation and the selection of the most iconic women in Serbia and the world by using different sources of information, such as the Internet and the libary.
In order to achieve our aim, after the research work, we delivered a Power Point Presentation to our schoolmates and talked to them about their impressions and attitudes.
We were delighted by the fact that the students shared our opinion that this topic should not be ignored and that others should be encouraged to learn more about it.
It can be concluded that it is very important to speak from an early age about this topic to influence young generations to create a better world for men and women to live and work together in harmony.

APSTRAKT
Ovaj istraživački rad istražuje i izdvaja listu najinspirativnijih žena iz naše zemlje i sveta sa kratkim opisom društvenog položaja žena kroz istoriju.
Imajući u vidu činjenicu da su ženama mnoga prava bila osporavana počev od Kamenog doba i da danas i dalje nemaju isti tretman u nekim kulturama, ova teme je veoma važna. S tim u vezi, cilj našeg rada jeste upoznavanje učenika osnovne škole (od 5. do 8. razreda) sa ovim problemom i promovisanje glasa tolerancije i jednakosti među muškarcima i ženama.
Istraživačke metode su obuhvatale istraživanje i odabir legendarnih žena u Srbiji i u svetu korišćenjem izvora informacija kao što su Internet i biblioteka.
Da bi ostvarili naš cilj, nakon istraživanja smo naša saznanja prezentovali učenicima naše škole i pričali sa njima o njihovim utiscima i stavovima.
Bili smo oduševljeni činjenicom da su delili naše mišljenje da se ova tema ne sme ignorisati i da treba ohrabrivati druge da saznaju više o tome.
Moglo bi se zaključiti da je veoma važno govoriti na ovu temu od ranog uzrasta da bi se mlade generacije motivisale da stvore bolji svet za muškarce i žene da žive i rade u hramoniji.
