ABSTRACT

The Solar System is a part of the universe which is under the gravitational influence of the Sun, a ordinary yellow star which has steadily burnt for 5 billion years. The other important bodies of the Solar System are planets – a group of gas, rocky, icy worlds which rotate around the Sun in nearly circular orbits. Around most planets orbit moons, and a huge amount of smaller rocky or icy bodies form their own path around the Sun. Around the larger bodies there is infinite number of tiny particles – from subatomic particles which the Sun blew out, to particles of ice and dust which were delivered by comets. Our local part of the universe is one of the most interesting topics for astronomers and scientists around the globe. They send probes, satellites and rovers out there hoping to discover more interesting, new things and learn about the secrets that were kept hidden for millions of years.

APSTRAKT

Sunčev sistem je deo svemira koji je pod gravitacionim uticajem Sunca, obične žute zvezde koja stabilno gori već 5 milijarde godina. Ostali značajni objekti u Sunčevom Sistemu jesu planete – grupa gasovitih, stenovitih, ledenih svetova koji se okreću oko Sunca duž skoro kružnih putanja. Oko većine zvezda orbitiraju meseci, a ogroman broj manjih stenovitih ili ledenih tela opisuju sopstvene putanje oko Sunca. Oko krupnijih tela nalaze se bezbroj sićušnih čestica – od subatomskih čestica koje je oduvalo Sunce, do čestica prašine i leda koje su za sobom ostavile komete. Naše lokalno parče svemira predstavlja jednu od najzanimljivijih tema za astronome i naučnike širom sveta. Oni šalju sonde, satelite i rovere nadajući se da će otkriti neke interesantnije, nove stvari i da ce naučiti tajne koje su ostale skrivene milionima godina.
